• This event, which features Trust-Based Relational Intervention ® (TBRI) methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from TCU Institute of Child Development, is specifically designed to help equip foster and adoptive parents, ministry leaders, and child care professionals with the tools they need to connect with children that have experienced trauma, abuse and/or neglect.

At the two-day event learn how to:

Connect – Gain insight into your own attachment style, how it can impact your relationships with your children.

Empower – Learn ways to empower children from hard places through providing a structured environment.

Correct – Learn proactive and responsive strategies such as offering choices, compromises, sharing power and using life value terms to help children with challenging behaviors.
